PLATTEKILL TRANSFER STATION
The Plattekill Transfer Station is the base of operations for Second
Nature Recycling and Dankelmann & Associates. The
Plattekill Transfer Station, located at 41 Venuto Road, Wallkill, New
York (actually just outside of Modena, New York) is open to the
public seven days a week. |

This facility offers disposal options on a wide variety of
materials. These materials are broken down into three
categories, Solid Waste Disposal Materials, Recyclables Requiring
Fees, and Recyclables. |

Closed the following Holidays:
New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday, Presidents Day,
Good Friday (at noon), Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Forth of July,
Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve
(at noon), Christmas Day. |

Weather Closings or Delays:
In the onset of a snow storm during business hours it will be up to
the Facility Manager to decide to close early.
If a Snow Emergency is declared, by local or State authorities the
facility will be closed until emergency is lifted
For the best information listen to your local radio station for up to
the minute weather delays and closings. |
